This year’s edition brought even more beautiful results after last year’s success, especially thanks to our Terka’s Dark Sip, which was awarded as the best craft beer ever.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

A total of 29 breweries in 15 categories took part in the third year of the Slovak Craft Beer Cup 2024 tasting competition<\/strong>. The aim of the competition announced by the Association of Small Independent Breweries of Slovakia is to support the development of small breweries with an annual production of up to 200 000 hl. A jury of 23 tasters<\/strong> selected the best beers from a total of 158 entries.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Terka’s Dark Sip and Otto’s beautiful Vienna Lager<\/strong> are the two beers from our P\u00e1lffy Brauerei that earned a place on the podium. Semi-dark 11-ka Vienna Lager of beautiful Otto won 2nd place in the category European semi-dark lager – type Vienna Lager, M\u00e4rzen<\/strong>. Dark lager 13-ka Terkin dark sip took 1st<\/strong> place in the category Semi-dark and dark lager type Bohemian – Style Semidark and Dark Lager. “We are pleased that our Vienna lager, which we launched only last year, succeeded in the competition and that we managed to defend last year’s first place with our dark lager,” adds Tom\u00e1\u0161 Dilong, production director of the P\u00e1lffy Brauerei brewery<\/strong>. And the jury liked our Terka’s dark sip so much that they awarded him the title of overall Grand Champion. “Terkin’s Dark Sip was judged the best craft beer in Slovakia among all the category winners. We are extremely happy and thankful for this success,” concludes Tom\u00e1\u0161 Dilong<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
