PaB Donau – beer, food and urban energy

Vienna veal schnitzel as it should be.
Tafelspitz, which understands both tradition and taste.
And craft beer, wine from its own winery and original drinks all in one place, right on the Danube riverbank.

A new concept from PaB is coming to Bratislava – after Tatranská Lomnica we are opening PaB Donau.
It’s not a classic beer bar. It’s an urban establishment that builds on honest Austro-Hungarian cuisine, an exceptional location and an atmosphere that fits for both lunch and an evening meeting.

“The PaB Donau concept is based on the same values: honest raw materials, craftsmanship, character.
The basis is classic recipes from the old monarchy, but modern, clean and understandable for the urban guest,” says Jaro Bachleda, the author of the menu concept.

Head Chef Anton Meszároš is responsible for the kitchen at PaB Donau.
After years in top restaurants in Bratislava and running a farm kitchen in the south of Slovakia, he comes with a vision that is simple:
“To cook in such a way that the guest says: I’ll have this again.”

“I prefer calm in the kitchen instead of stress and shouting. The only hell I like is the one in my mouth,” Anton smiles.
“I like the flavors I knew as a kid. And that’s why the PaB Donau concept suited me, it’s a place where history meets honest craft and a modern gastro approach.”
